2015 General Election Endorsements

Our local Democratic Parties carefully consider each candidate and ballot measure endorsement, to help you cast a better ballot, especially for the smallest voting districts. Our Endorsements Finder shows you how these endorsements will affect your own ballot.

This page gathers all of the endorsements made by our many local democratic party organizations across Washington state.

How It Works

Local party organizations make endorsements. We gather those reports here, listing endorsements individually by organization.

Later, endorsements get promoted to the Current Endorsements page, listing endorsements by candidate. This page feeds the endorsements finder database.

How we track changes

When we report endorsements here, we use “text” editing mode, not “visual”. We report each endorsement on a separate line. Split dual endorsements.

We report each new endorsement using type=”circle”. Use this template:

How we promote changes

We search for type=”circle” to detect changes that need to be promoted.

After we promote the change to Current Endorsements, we change the entry to type=”disc”, so we know to skip them.
